More past projects...

After going through my wardrobe I've found some articles of clothing that I knitted/crocheted a long time ago, ranging from 2000 till last year. So I apologise if some details are sketchy and inexact.
This scarf was knitted using the feathery flutter yarn that changes colour from blue, green, to purple (I don't recall the brand but they are very common in Kmart/Lincraft/Spotlight). I used 2 threads at a times and if I remember correctly I went through 8 balls. The pattern is a simple garter stitch for about 15-20 stitches each row depending on how wide one wants it. I used thick needles for this. I don't suggest using this kind of wool for beginners, as it gets very tedious and hard to undo when you make a mistake.
This navy blue scarf was crocheted using medium sized hook and double stitches for each row. I chose the colour because our school colours were navy and rust and we were only allowed navy scarves in winter.
This doily is actually quite big in size, about half a metre in diameter. Again it's from one of my mom's crochet magazines and it was meant to be crocheted using very thin thread. I used white, pink, purple cotton yarn and that's why it's much bigger than it's meant to be. But the good thing is that I can put it with the other clothes in the washing machine.
These legwarmers were one of my very first projects. The yarn is the same as the doily above, and it's a simple ribbing, stocking, ribbing pattern. The edges were then stitched together at the end. However I find the cast off ends a bit small for my legs. Maybe next time I should increase the stitches towards the end.
My latest finished project: blue and yellow scarf. I knitted it before I left for Sweden mid last year which explains the colours. It's ribbed again, 2k 2p for about 50 stitches each row. After all the wash and wear unfortunately some of the ends (from constantly changing colours) have come loose.
